She has been accused of murdering 7 infants and attempting to kill 10 more between 2000 and 15 to 2016.The death was done with the help of excessive milk, air, insulin or fluid.
Dr Ravi Jayaram, a senior doctor at Cheshire Hospital, testified that he raised suspicion about Letby. The Cheshire Constabulary conducted the investigation into the death. She was caught in 2018, 2019 and 2020 for suspicion.
The trial began in October, 2022. She was tried at the Manchester Crown Court in England and was convicted on August 18th, 2022 and was sentenced to life in prison.
The prosecutor submitted the falsified accounts of Lucy, which used to cover her tracks. Motorway, the prosecutor also submitted the text messages sent from Lucy to a friend where she wrote about the mini meltdown. Her diary was also submitted in which the initials of the killed babies were mentioned.
Lucy suffered from various mental health issues, which caused her to kill the infants.

Lucy is the most prolific speeder killer in the Cheshire Constabulary, because she has neither any history of trauma nor any childhood abuse. Moreover, she has been calm and relaxed and not arrogant.
